Rév (Romanian name: Vadu-Crișului) is located in Bihar county, next to the E 60 road between Nagyvárad and Kolozsvár, 50 km from Nagyvárad. The first known written record is from 1256, in connection with a property dispute.
The term Portus Crisy used in 1256 and 1284 could have meant more than simple Rév, the seeds of the settlement can be seen in it, writes Zsigmond Jakó.
Rév is a typical hilly settlement, the main streets follow the course of the Sebes-Körös, the narrow side streets climb the hills. Based on the latest census data, the number of Hungarians in the village consisting of four villages (Rév, Kőröstopa, Bertény, Tomnatek) is 856, which is 19.3% of the total population.

But what is Rév famous for?
First of all, about its pottery, its beautiful rock gorge, and last but not least, the sights and memorial sites in the village.
Since the low-quality soil did not provide a livelihood, the craft of pottery using low-contamination, virtually iron oxide-free “white” clay found only in Rév, which is unique even in Europe, became the main occupation of the residents here. After firing, the clay pots made in the settlement were carried on echo carts to the surrounding fairs, but they also reached Debrecen and beyond Szilágysomlyo in the north. Thus, the reputation of the typical Révi jugs, buckets, and pots has spread far and wide. An original example of how good craftsmen our potters were is the fact that in Romania only the people of Révi undertook to make the almost human-sized vases for the park of the Cotroceni Palace in Bucharest. Since it is a dying craft, in a few years the value of the famous white ceramics from Rév will decrease. That is why it was important to apply for the creation of the House of Crafts, where we can not only commemorate our potters, but perhaps also save this dying craft in Rév.

Within the framework of the ROHU 126 project, an event tent and an event entitled “The Days of the Sebes-Körös Gorge” were organized between 30 September and 2 October 2022.

Local Government of Körszégapáti established an Info and Tourism Management Center by rehabilitating and equipping an existing building. The building is located in Körszégapáti near the Natura 2000 Berekböszörmény-Körmöspusztai sites HUHN 20103. The building is an old school, which was renovated (façade, inside, roof) as well as interior transformation in order to create spaces that are necessary for the Center. The Center was equipped with the necessary equipment and furniture (video, projector, LCD TV, printer, digital camera, binoculars, tables, chairs)

A truck with trailor was purchased to transport tourists in the protected area and 20 bicycles were purchased. The road (1.1 km) between the Info and Tourist Management Center and the protected area was also renovated (restoration, excavation, leveling). In addition, 2 wooden lookouts equipped with binoculars were built in the area of the Natura 2000 Berekböszörmény-Körmöspusztai sites, and a nature trail was created.
